Kiko Loureiro released the Open Source album in June 2020. By definition, "open source" is related to software in which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified.
It brings us a higher sense of community and enhances our creativity and possibilities.
The idea is to take this concept to our art, our music.
The album has been acclaimed by the fans and by guitar heroes such as Joe Satriani and got the Album of the Year 2020 nomination by the respected magazine Guitar World.
